Every QuizMaestro game is built in Kahoot, which is super simple to use. The host opens the trivia game and shares it on screen. Players jump in from their own phone, tablet, or laptop. Once they are in, multiple-choice questions pop up with up to four answer options.

Answers are not labeled A, B, C, and D. Instead, they show up as colors: red, yellow, green, or blue. Players tap an answer on their device. After each question, the correct answer and the current leaderboard are displayed.

Tips for the Trivia Host

Is the background audio getting in the way? You can choose to share sound only during the music clips. Two quick ways to do it:

1. Move your mouse to the top of the screen. A Microsoft Teams bar pops up. From there, toggle sound sharing on or off.

2. You can also tweak the sound settings inside Kahoot.

Important:
We suggest the trivia host skip the headset. If you use a headset, you won't be able to share your computer audio. Still want to use the headset mic? Set Microsoft Teams to use your computer's default speaker. Otherwise, players won't hear the sound from your trivia game.
